PMS
What is PMS?
Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS) is a collection of physical, emotional, and behavioral symptoms that occur in the luteal phase of the menstrual cycle—typically 1 to 2 weeks before menstruation—and resolve shortly after the period begins. It affects up to 75% of menstruating women, with varying degrees of severity. Up to 50% of menstruating individuals report at least one PMS symptom, and 20% experience symptoms severe enough to disrupt daily activities.
